Milk Bath Collection

Xiang Jiao and I are very excited to be launching our body/skin care products in either June or early July! We finalized the milk bath collection this week. There’s no official names of each product for the milk bath line yet, but here are sneak peaks of some pictures we took.

Masque Bar by Look Beauty Brightening Sheet Mask

Saw the Masque Bar by Look Beauty Brightening Sheet Mask at my local Target store. This mask line is apparently new because I’ve never seen it at Target in the past.  I was attracted to two of the ingredients, Licorice Root and Vitamin C, which are commonly used to help lighten up dark spots.

Priced at 9.99 USD for 3 masks, these are a little more pricey than the Japanese masks I usually buy. However if you compare to masks sold in the US such as Sephora or the department stores, these mask are relatively inexpensive.

Milk Bombs

Xiang Jiao and I have been testing out bath fizzies every week for quite some time now. Our goal for this week was to finalize the formula for our “milk bomb” line. This week, we infused sea salt and kaolin clay to the formula.

Review: Omorovicza Complexion Perfector BB Cream

Hi guys, Xiang Jiao is back!  Life caught up with me when my sister gave birth, so I’ve been extra busy lately.  Today, I will be reviewing BB Creams.  I consider this BB cream to be the most expensive BB Cream in the market currently and soon you will find out why.

Omorovicza Cosmetics is a brand from Budapest, Hungary.   The Omorovicza family started their spa on the site of a medieval healing spring.  Amazed by the water quality of this spring 200 years later, Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza along with his wife Margaret turned to a Nobel Prize winning laboratory to harness the healing properties of this water into a skincare line; making this healing spring’s water accessible around the world.

Polished Nails After Removing Acrylics

Sometimes after removing acrylic nails, I want a break from all that color jazz and have a simple and polished look. Although you can create beautiful nail art with acrylics, it can really put a troll on your natural nails because it becomes thin. This is what my nails looked like after removing acrylics:

BOOO!! Hideous right? Walking around the street with these nails would be embarrassing. My polished look now:

Clio Ultra High Sunblock SPF 50+ PA+++

A few days ago, I picked up the Clio Ultra High Sunblock SPF 50+ PA+++ from Marukai. I was in need of a facial suncreen so my blemishes won’t get darker (if you recall from a few posts back, I had the chicken pox two weeks ago and it left me with some ugly blemishes >.<…).

Clio is a Korean cosmetic brand. I’ve never tried this brand before but decided to give it a shot when I tested it at Murakai. I purchased this for around $25 USD for 60ml. Definitely not cheap if you compare it to drugstore brands, but not extremely expensive either when compared to high end brands. I believe you can get this for a less expensive price if you purchase somewhere online.
